Chau New York! Sehlam Addis Ababa!

Chau (Goodbye) New York! Sehlam (Hello) Addis Ababa!  I am packed and almost ready to go. My flight is around 11 PM tonight, and I will arrive in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia, around 1 AM on Tuesday. I have a layover in Istanbul, Turkey, which is lucky because I just found some extra lira in my wallet from my March trip to Istanbul. Maybe I will pick up a doner or simit! Once in Addis, I will spend a few days with the two other JSC Fellows in Ethiopia before heading to Gonder. I am not quite sure about the availability of Internet in Gonder or my schedule yet, but I will do my best to update this blog once I am settled.
